We needed a hotel in the Cedar Park area for a few nights and chose the Staybridge Suites Cedar Park Austin North. We used a travel credit from this card toward our stay. Our studio suite was clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our visit. We would stay here again, though the Wi-Fi and bathroom-door clearance could be better.

Check-in and staff
One of the best parts of our stay was the staff. When we arrived, Nyzha and Rebekah greeted us at the front desk. Check-in was quick and easy, and Nyzha took time to explain what we needed to know about breakfast, checkout, and the hotel amenities.
The friendly service continued throughout our stay. Someone greeted us whenever we came through the front doors, and when we headed out, we often heard a cheerful send-off. Over three nights, everyone we encountered was courteous.
I did not realize until later, when I looked back at my confirmation email, that Rebekah was the general manager. She was at the front desk greeting guests and helping with check-in. The interaction felt natural and welcoming.
Our studio king suite
We booked a Studio Suite with one king bed and a kitchen. The room is listed for up to three guests, though there were only two of us.
As soon as we get to a hotel room, we look around and check the cleanliness. We had no complaints. The room was very clean when we arrived, and everything appeared well maintained. There was plenty of space for the two of us, with room around the king bed, a work area, and a small kitchenette.
The kitchenette
Having a kitchenette was useful during our short stay. Ours was not large, but it had the plates, utensils, and basic kitchen items we needed.
The cabinets held the basics we needed, including a toaster, glasses, coffee cups, and plates. Even if you do not plan to cook full meals, the extra counter and storage space is handy for drinks, snacks, leftovers, or takeout. For a longer stay, I can see getting much more use out of the kitchenette than we did over three nights.
The bathroom has one awkward problem
There was one room design choice we did not like. The bathroom door barely cleared the toilet as it opened and closed. To pull the door shut, you have to step into the narrow space between the toilet and the glass shower door and stand there. That made getting in and closing the bathroom door awkward.
Nothing was wrong with the bathroom itself, and this was not a maintenance issue. It was simply an awkward layout in our room. Travelers who need more room to maneuver may want to ask the hotel about other room layouts before booking. We do not know whether other room types have the same issue.
Wi-Fi was the biggest disappointment
Our main complaint was the Wi-Fi. The connection was slow and disconnected often enough that we eventually gave up on it much of the time and used our phone hotspots instead.
For casual browsing, it may not be a dealbreaker. If you plan to work from the hotel, join video meetings, or rely on a steady connection, keep this issue in mind. There was IT work happening in the business center during our stay, so that could have contributed to the connection trouble, but we cannot confirm that was the cause. The Wi-Fi was still the weakest part of our stay.
Breakfast
Breakfast was about what we expected from a hotel in this category. Options included eggs, bacon, bagels, a waffle station, coffee, juice, and several other choices. Nothing stood out, but it was adequate for getting something to eat before heading out for the day.
The breakfast area was clean during our stay, and staff kept up with it without any issues.
Pool, grill area, and fitness room
The hotel has an outdoor pool, with a grill area behind the building right beside it. The grills and nearby seating looked useful for a cookout, especially on a longer stay when you want a meal close to the hotel.
The fitness room is fairly small, so do not expect a large hotel gym. There was enough equipment for us to get a workout in, and it should work for travelers who want to keep up their routine during a short stay.
The Den is a quiet place to sit
The Den looked like a cozy, quiet sitting area and a nice place to read for a while. It gives guests another spot to relax outside their room.
Would we stay here again?
Yes. We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites Cedar Park Austin North. The hotel and our room were clean, the studio suite was comfortable, and the kitchenette was useful.
The staff made the hotel feel welcoming throughout our visit. Nyzha, Rebekah, and the other employees we encountered were consistently warm and courteous.
The bathroom layout in our room was awkward, and the Wi-Fi needs improvement. The Wi-Fi affected us more because we ended up relying on our phone hotspots. Still, neither issue ruined the stay. Overall, it was a pretty good place to stay, and we would return to the Cedar Park area.
For the price, I think this hotel makes the most sense for a longer stay, when the kitchenette can be useful day after day. Over our three nights, we liked having it, but did not get as much use from it as someone staying longer might.
